This necklace is the result of careful and refined craftsmanship, made with thin threads meticulously hand-knotted by the master artisans of the Inga people, in the heart of Putumayo, Colombia. A unique accessory that intertwines ancestral tradition, sustainability, and contemporary creativity. The delicate yet voluminous weave is enriched with colorful beads and natural seeds from the "tropical ginger" or sirindango plant, an Amazonian plant essential to the local economy.

The seeds are harvested at a specific time of year, following nature's rhythms and respecting the plant's life cycle. Thanks to this attention, each necklace becomes an expression of ancient knowledge, transformed into ethical and sustainable jewelry.

With its vibrant colors and red base that brings energy and warmth, this necklace is perfect for adding personality to any outfit. It is a lightweight yet impactful accessory, capable of telling a story while elegantly enhancing your look.

CURE

Glass beads are small decorative elements made from molten glass, available in an infinite number of shapes, colors, and finishes. Used for making necklaces, bracelets, and other accessories, glass beads are materially robust but require attention to the care of the stringing material—often silk, nylon, or cotton—which represents the most vulnerable point of the accessory. Chemicals found in cosmetics and perfumes are the main enemies of glass luster.

Care and Maintenance of Glass Beads

Cleaning

Soft, slightly damp cloth. For deep cleaning: lukewarm water with a drop of neutral detergent, rinse and dry thoroughly.

Drying

Carefully dry the joints: standing water weakens the string over time, especially if it is silk or cotton.

Storage

Store separately to avoid scratching between beads. Glass surfaces can chip if knocked.

Treatment

Avoid perfumes, hairsprays, and creams: chemicals dull the beads and deteriorate the string.

Inspection

Periodically check the integrity of the string, especially at the knots. At the first sign of weakening, have it restrung.

⚠️ Caution: Wear the accessory only after applying perfumes and cosmetics, not before. Chemical residues accumulate on the beads and reduce their luster over time.

Additional Indications

Silk String: If the string is silk (as in Seta accessories), avoid any contact with water: wet silk weakens and deforms easily.

Bath and Sports: Always remove accessories before swimming, exercising, or entering a sauna.

Restringing: A string in good condition is essential for the safety of the accessory. Have the knots checked every 12–18 months by a craftsman.
