The Páramo is a unique ecosystem in the world, found in the Colombian Andes between 3,000 and 4,500 meters above sea level, almost always shrouded in fog. The absolute protagonists are the frailejones (Espeletia), endemic plants with a sculptural shape, with silvery and velvety leaves that capture moisture from the air and slowly release it into the soil. This extraordinary mechanism makes the Páramo one of the continent's main water reserves: it regulates the water cycle and feeds rivers and aqueducts that quench the thirst of millions of people. Despite occupying less than 1% of the Earth's surface, it hosts exceptional biodiversity and is considered one of the ecosystems most vulnerable to climate change: it is a fragile treasure, to be understood and protected.

CURE

This garment is made of 100% polyester mesh technical fabric with a sublimated print, a durable material that requires certain precautions to preserve its colors and texture over time.

We recommend hand washing or machine washing on a delicate cycle, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C, using cold or lukewarm water and a neutral detergent, preferably without optical brighteners or bleaching agents that could alter the colors of the print.

Avoid fabric softener, as it can reduce the breathability of the technical fabric. Do not spin at high speeds: it is better to wring gently by hand or use a short spin at low speed.

For drying, lay the garment flat or hang it on a hanger, in the shade and away from direct heat sources or direct sunlight, which can fade the print over time.

Do not tumble dry. If necessary, iron at a low temperature, avoiding direct contact of the iron with the print (ideally iron inside out or by placing a cloth in between).

Avoid dry cleaning with aggressive solvents and do not use bleach.

By following these simple instructions, the fabric will maintain its elasticity, durability, and vibrant colors for longer.
