Each piece originates from an important starting point: weaving begins from a pom-pom-shaped "belly button." This detail represents the center of the female body, the genesis of the world and thought, fertility, and the beginning of life. From there, the artisan builds the mochila by following circular paths, creating a rigid and resistant, yet delicate and sophisticated structure.
