Routine cleaning

Dry brushing or damp cloth. Avoid full washing

Dab immediately with lukewarm water and mild soap. Do not rub

Drying

Air dry, away from direct heat sources

Storage

In a dry place, away from humidity (causes mold) and excessive dryness (makes the fiber brittle)

Avoid immersion in water: palm fibers absorb moisture and can deform or rot.
To restore flexibility to a dried item, lightly moisten the surface with a barely damp cloth.
Periodically expose palm fiber to fresh air to prevent moisture stagnation.
